Announcement:Due to ALOT of interest: We have decided to allow a limited number of Brood Donkeys. The Donkeys do not have to be broke to Ride or Drive, however they do need to be broke to lead and handle their feet. They WILL have to go through the sifting process! If you are interested in consigning Donkeys for the Sale, let us know.
J.L. and Jamie Nichols would like to welcome you to participate in the Oklahoma "SELECT" Draft Horse and Mule Sale. It is our belief that people are looking for Broke and Honest horses and mules, so we decided to create a venue to bring serious buyers and good livestock together.
All horses and mules consigned to the Oklahoma "SELECT" Draft Horse and Mule Sale will be submitted to our sifting process to show that they have the qualities of a correct and broke animal. All animals over 2 years old must be broke to ride or drive.
Entries close February 15, 2010 or the first 80 horses/mules and 10 colts (under 2 years old) whichever comes first. Please take a few minutes to read through the rules and regulations for entry. All entries need to be complete when received, we are not responsible for entries that are not filled out correctly or are incomplete.
We will be selling all breeds of Draft Horses, Riding Horses, Draft Crosses, Warm Bloods, Mules, Jack Stock, Singles, Teams, Riders and Drivers. All Animals Must Go Through The Sifting Process!
The Sifting Process is designed to allow the owners to show their animals to potential buyers, allowing them to do side by side comparison to other consignments.
Schedule:
Thursday, March 11, 12:00 Noon Start Checking in Horses, Mules, Jack Stock and Equipment.
Friday, March 12, 9:00 AM Sifting Process for all Animals Consigned to Sale. (All animals must go through sifting process)
10:00 AM Selling Tack, Harness, Equipment, Saddles, Collars, Cowboy Collectibles, Antiques and Memorabilia.(No JUNK Please)(We reserve the right to reject any unwanted items)
1:00 PM Sell Wagons, Carts and Buggies.
Saturday, March 13, 10:00 AM Colts Sell First, followed by Horses, Mules and Jack Stock. (All Livestock Sells in Order of Consignment!)

Sale will be held at Payne County Expo Center, on the corner of Hwy 51 and Fairgrounds Rd,
approximately 3 1/2 miles East of Hwy 177 or approx.
20 miles East of Interstate 35.
Stillwater is about an hours drive north/east of Oklahoma City and about an hours drive west of Tulsa Ok.
Excellent facilities and easy to get to!
Indoor arena, covered stalls and wash racks.
R.V. Hookups available on site. $10 per night.
J.R. Johnston will be there with a good selection of Pioneer Carts and Equipment.
Richards Tack & Harness will be with us both days.
Miller Harness Shop will have a good selection of Bells, Harness and Equipment.
Mike McGilvray will have a nice selection of Wooden Wheels, Wagon Bows, and parts, if you are needing your wooden wheels rebuilt bring them along to the sale and Mike will pick them up there! Contact Mike (785) 734-2663.
